About me
Originally from New York, I've been at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX since 2018. In 2022, I founded Bridwell Press at SMU, which has grown into a broad coalition of creative scholars, translators, writers, and thought leaders. I have graduate degrees from the University of Chicago, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, UIUC, and Indiana University, and have academic interests in global history, translation studies, international literature (especially of Central and East Asia), theology, and the social & cultural history of the book. I'm open to discussions on any topic though, especially as it relates to publishing! And I can't forget that we're building a world-class paper making lab and historical printing press studio at Bridwell. If you're interested, please ask me!
